Renting a 4x4 Landcruiser will give you the freedom to explore more of Iceland and give you access to some of the most admirable nature gems.

This gives our customers the ability to save money as it is cheaper to rent a normal passenger car for the majority of the trip and then plan for just a few days on a Jeep. There is therefore no need to rent a Jeep for the whole trip. A hypothetical sample might be the following... To rent a Jeep for 10 days might cost 45 thousand ISK for a total of 450 thousand ISK. To rent a smaller car for 10 days and a discounted Landcruiser Jeep (Discounts through MyCar Rental) might cost 15 thousand for 10 days and 35 thousand for 2 days for a total of 220 thousand ISK... a total savings of half the original price. In this example you could drive your normal passenger car to Hrauneyjar and leave it there while you go on an adventure tour on your jeep. Once you are done you come back and take your car again and finish your tour of Iceland. We might even be able to drive your regular car to another place a few days later and replace the jeep, should you not want to come back to the same place where you left the normal car.

- Long Term Rental (More than 2 days) - 39.000 ISK
Low Season Prices - 25.000 ISK daily rental

MyCar Customers get a 20% discount from these prices.
MyJeep Customers get a 10% discount from MyCar Rental prices.

Pricing for a driver guide:
Half a day (Approx 5 hours) - 25.000 ISK
Full day (Approx 8-10 hours) - 39.000 ISK
Consider the possibility for 2 or more people to rent a car and a driver guide instead of going on a tourbus for close to the same price.
